This corridor looked almost the same. Still quiet, though now he noticed more people about. At least that meant he hadn't run into any monsters. He ran along the hall until he saw the door that had caused him and Dr. Birkin so much trouble. From the day now, he knew that at the end of this hall was almost a lobby with the hall to the Sun Room and

Halfway there and still looking good. Jack grinned to himself. Travelling always seemed to be a bit easier earlier in the evening, as well. He wasn't certain if that was because the monsters had just gotten let out of their kennels, or if he was always just in nicer areas early in the evening. He supposed he'd figure it out eventually. He had other things on his mind right now, anyway.
He headed in to the first M-block.

Jade also noted that there seemed to be someone walking a few steps ahead of him as he made his way through. It was a good example to follow, rushing around the hallways like that, as the patient halls felt so mundane compared to what he'd heard from his fellow prison mates during the day. By then he had gained a good grasp of his night vision, and with that his pace quickened to his intended destination.

He passed the door to the men's wing. No telling for sure that Sanzo was in that wing and not his own, and it left a bit too much to chance for Hakkai's liking. He kept going until he reached the intersection near the nurse's station where he would likely notice anyone trying to leave the hallway. Which meant he'd probably be able to catch Sanzo.
Of course, whether the monk would put up with being followed tonight or not was an entirely different story.

Sanzo stalked down the hallway. After that encounter, he hadn't bothered sticking around. He had business to take care of tonight, and the monkey to pick up.
That asshole had to be joking: Sanzo wasn't about to voluntarily go up to him and submit himself to more of his crap than he had to. And offering that "promise", as if it would be some kind of reward for doing so? The monk was pretty sure it was also a veiled threat if he did otherwise.
The monk didn't respond well to threats.
He wasn't about to get swayed just like that, and Homura had said enough himself, aside from the Landels file on him. Sanzo didn't need to know much more about his backstory. What was missing was the extent of the abilities he was beginning to suspect Homura had, and that was only because Sanzo wanted to know what he was dealing with. There was no way he was going to give the bastard more ammunition.
Fuming, Sanzo almost missed Hakkai. Almost.

"Sanzo." The usual quiet greeting. As if everything was normal. He would probably wait a respectful few minutes before prodding for the reason behind Sanzo's foul mood. Wasn't that nice of him?

He turned to face Hakkai.
"It'd be too much to expect that you'd have matches or a lighter, wouldn't it?

Haku looked around this hallway. Still no signs of danger, but he didn't like the feel to the air. Something wasn't right....

Turning out of the cell block, Recluse headed up towards their destination. Good. Haku was already here. He approached quietly, stopping a few feet away from the boy.

He said nothing to the boy and stopped after Recluse, staying away from him.
The heaviness in the air didn't help he anger that was settled in Zabuza very comfortably.

Something twisted at seeing Zabuza-san so angry though. He did his best to ignore it, though he knew he deserved it, and kept his expression blank and still. He waited for Lord Recluse to make the next move.
