[Coming from herePushing the door open, Kurama was surprised to find himself stepping out into the dark night, cool air meeting his skin and giving the redhead goosebumps. Almost surprised enough to forget his present annoyance with Karasu. Almost ( Read more... )

Holding the door open only long enough to slip out after Kurama, Karasu also took a glance around, observing and taking in every detail that he could see at the current moment in time ( ... )

Abruptly, as soon as her hand was freed, the laughter all but turned into a murderous wail while her eyes locked onto the busy redhead. As the other man settled from the hurt, she flailed harder, the hand holding the glass rising out of the man's grip to sway too and fro above them, unsteadily with the weight pressing against its wielder. Her eyes narrowed, mouth open in a silent scold to the insolent thief, insolent, naughty patient.

She was made to be the perfect woman. Sadly, despite all her beauty and obedience, all Daniella had become was the perfect monster.

Her arm was free, just for that brief moment, but it was enough. The time was enough for her to shriek in anger and disgust as the raised hand swung back, took aim, and immediately rocketed the sharp glass through the air and at the man by the shed.

The shard of glass had flown into the air even before Karasu had had the time to regain his lost grip on the woman’s wrist, his eyes widening slightly at the suddenness of it. With a silent curse, the crow demon took a quick glance back toward Kurama, unable to even acknowledge the fact that his concern was indeed an odd conundrum, and then perhaps the 'concern' was a mere figment. He was only doing as he was told after all.

“Kurama!" came his warning shout, without even the smallest hesitation. Even as much as he would have liked to see the fox demon immersed in his own blood as he had once before, he had a bit more to worry about in the place of his sick fetishes.

Kurama had just clicked another tumbler into place when he heard the woman wail, Karasu shout his name. Jerking towards the sound, Kurama turned to look and was immediately met with the searing pain of the glass shard ripping through his shirt sleeve and embedding itself deep into his upper arm.

A hiss of pain passed between clenched teeth as Kurama let go of the makeshift tools to clutch at his new wound. Damn it! Kurama swore silently, knowing he'd lost the progress he'd been making on the lock. But this was suddenly more important. The woman didn't matter anymore, either, considering she was now apparently unarmed ( ... )

A giant key. Man, if only he could see that. But Sora's key had probably been taken along with all their other belongings, like the guns that he was looking for, so it was pretty unlikely that he'd get to see it anytime soon ( ... )

[ From here. ]Even though Sora could barely see a thing, he was pleased that they had made it outside. They were only on a moist, grassy field of some sort--and it wasn't even wild considering how well-trimmed the grass was--but it was something. He wasn't used to being cooped up inside for so long. Most people weren't, but he'd spent the majority of his childhood outside. Inside had been boring, after all ( ... )
