Harvey wasn't usually the sort of person to feel nervous, and even now he wouldn't call it that. It wasn't the dark, empty hallway that had him tense and jumpy, but rather the fact that he was about to throw himself into something that could lead to even more death.
Granted, it didn't seem all that severe when it had been made clear that you would just bounce back afterward, but that didn't mean that he was curious to know what it felt like.
He wasn't scared of death, necessarily. He'd thought about that option more than a few times since Rachel's death, even. But he didn't want to go out like this. He needed to take care of some things first, and he wasn't going to let Landel wipe him out before he got the chance.
Not for the first time he wondered what the others would think if they knew. Granted, it was a moot point, seeing how he never intended on letting them find out. Shoulders squared, Harvey exited the block.
