Taura peeked out of the stairwell door with the first evidence of caution she'd shown all night. Everything looked quiet, but that didn't mean much of anything.

Locke pushed the door open with his shoulder, shining the light around to make sure there was nothing waiting for them. Seeing the coast was clear, he moved out of the way and held the door for Donna. He pointed the light down the hall in front of them and smirked. "Down that way. We're close."

Maybe they'd get there in time before whatever magic 'reset' them each night. Hopefully...

"How long have you been here then, cuz I gave up on that after... let's say the second day I didn't get to shower properly," Donna sighed, but knew that to each their own. The Doctor was the same, thinking for the better rather than on what could really happen.

At least those types made for good leaders.

Donna peered down the hallway, nodding. "Yeah. I didn't hit any kitchens, but I've been up this way before. Don't have to worry about me running out on you before we get there or anything."

Yeah, that wasn't the first time he'd heard that but it was still a little sad to know some people had lost a bit of hope in this place; not unexpected, but sad. He'd gotten close, but he'd promised himself he'd remain as hopeful s ever at least for his friend's sakes rather than his own. "Three days and four nights: that's how long." Yet it felt like so much longer. He couldn't imagine what it felt like for people like Edgar who'd been here for weeks.

He smiled back at her, continuing on. "I didn't think you would; you don't seem like the type. I'm just letting you know in case we have to run."
