It seemed that they'd lucked out, at least for now. Despite the mess that they had just walked out of, this part of the hall was much cleaner and emptier. They were just going to have to move quickly and they would hopefully avoid running into any wandering patients.
"I don't know how well-versed you are with the layout of the institute," she said, "but we'll be going straight down the hall to the right here." Despite not being a true soldier, at the moment Lydia was behaving like a woman on a mission. She'd finally gotten her chance to leave this place, perhaps for good, and she wasn't going to waste it.

She probably was desperate, besides. After being under that man's control for so long, anyone would be dedicated to following through on a potential escape.
"Right we go," he murmured, eyes scanning their surroundings for patient and monster alike. The man paused for foreign sights and sounds, before following after Lydia to the aforementioned hallway.
