Too goddamn tired, huh? Kimbley smirked up at the intercom sealed in the corner of the room and continued rifling through his drawer. Under his pillow he'd found the flashlight; in here, there were pens, a radio, a journal ... they were actually giving them supplies here. Clearly, this was not a real mental hospital ... or prison. More of hell than

He practically bounded down the corridor,, wanting to find his master and protect him as he was supposed to. Now... which was had it been?

ZEX was considering whether or not hiding in his room would be the best course of action, given his relative weakness, when he noticed someone sitting in the hallway.
Allies can only be useful...and they don't look dangerous, as far as I can tell...
"Excuse me..." ZEX kept a hand on the wall to keep himself steady as he took a few steps towards him. "Are you alright?"

Demyx hadn't been paying much attention to the other people in the hallway, so he was quite surprised when one of them actually talked to him. That's right, he wasn't invisible. Though, he would have liked to have that skill.
Demyx managed out a strangled, "Ulp!" as he stepped back from the guy. He finally managed to regain his composure enough to respond. "Er, yeah, I'm fine."
From his appearance, Demyx figured that he must be a 'patient' here too. Whatever that meant. In either case, the guy looked harmless enough. He hoped. He really didn't want to get into any kind of fight right now, especially without his weapon.
He hadn't really known what to say after that, so he ventured a question. "Hey, do you know what this place is?" Sure, he had gotten the whole 'this is Landels and we shall heal you' spiel, but Deymx was hoping this guy knew something more.

The human seemed rather jumpy...well, that seemed to indicate that he wasn't a potential enemy. "Monsters" was such a vague term...ZEX had no idea what it could refer to. This person seemed harmless enough though.
"I'm...not entirely sure. Someone told me that it's a mental hospital, but I doubt that now, particularly with some of the weird things I've heard about this place. Especially what happens after dark..." ZEX found the muscles in his face growing tired...how weak human muscles were. He raised a hand and pressed it over one eye. It was going to take him days to get used to the double vision, if he ever got used to it at all...

ZEX still was having trouble walking, the lack of balance from his now small, stationary head giving him more vertigo than he thought it would. He hadn't realized how much work those small head feelers had done simply stabilizing him, and now...his legs felt weak and shaky, and his bony arms couldn't move fast enough to keep his balance.
Kuja said there were monsters at night...this was not very good at all. ZEX was hardly planning on repeating his nightmare, and although he was at disadvantage, he simply had to keep his head and he'd be alright...
A search of the room gained him some odd supplies, a flashlight and some loose clothing...if something tried to grab him, it'd be to his advantage if they only caught his sweater, not himself, and he put it on. It felt itchy against his skin, but...he didn't have much else.
Well, things may not currently be in my favor, but I can manage. ZEX took a few cautious, slow steps outside his room, wobbling most the way. I simply have to either find ( ... )

HK was walking quietly and carefully down the hall, watching the glow of heat from each of the meatbags. One seemed to be moving rather strangely. Either it was just a weak, defective human or something more interesting.
He appeared (maybe a little suddenly) behind the target prisoner. "Query: Are you ill, meatbag? Your legs do not seem to be fully functional."

"Ah, no, I don't think so." ZEX turned look at HK curiously. These tiny human double eyes could barely see a thing in the dark...how inconvenient. "I'm...unused to walking like this body. This is all somewhat new to me." ZEX tried to remember what it was that humans did while telling a joke. Some kind of sharp exhalation of air...ZEX managed a kind of strange laugh. "Given what I've heard about this place at night, I hope I get the hang of it soon."

So when his roommate left, he thought to follow in suit. Perhaps he'd find something useful. The hallway seemed rather crowded which was just fine with him. He slipped past the people silently and continued his way onwards where everyone else seemed to be heading.

However, he could still beat most enemies into submission with his bare hands. And the ice powers were at least there if he needed them.
It was dark, but he preferred it like that. He adopted a low stance, keeping himself closer to the floor as he moved silently along the corridor.
