As usual, the main hallway had several people standing around by the time Guybrush reached it, undoubtedly discussing either their plans for the night, the mysterious Code 1-8, or possibly both and how they related to one another. With only the mention of it on the intercom serving to guide him, he had to assume that whatever Code 1-8 was, it was bad. It just seemed in line with Aguilar's character to prepare something diabolically and obnoxiously evil for the night, as if turning his patients into beasts wasn't enough.
It wouldn't have been enough for LeChuck, either. Bad guys never learned. At least the dread pirate had the occasional kick-in-the-rear to teach him a lesson; thus far, the score was leaning so far toward Aguilar that there was almost no point in keeping track.
Guybrush kept moving, recalling the way upstairs. He was sure he'd seen a plaque for the storage rooms in the hallway on the second floor.
