The third hallway of the night, and it was finally here that Sesshoumaru stopped. There were places he might look into to his left as well as his right this time, and he had already gone down the night before. He wondered where the hallway would lead in the other direction, and took time to consider it. There was a possibility that something useful lay in that direction, but an equal possibility that he would become lost and waste the night. For the moment his primary objective was the murder of those who thought to imprison him in any case. And, as he considered the number of locked doors he had encountered last night - even if none had seemed to hold anything particularly useful, at least to his mind (there was no information, and no one to kill) the fact that it was evidently a place of security meant that it was, at the least, a place to start.
Sesshoumaru turned and padded quietly down the hall.
