The darkness somehow seemed thicker in this room, although Rose did her best to chalk that up to her fears running away with her again, rather than reality. She had to stop a step inside the door, her body refusing to let her go any further as her light swept the inside of the room, taking in a massive table at the center and some piece of machinery looming over it. What was this for, she wondered?
