As much ground as possible was something agreeable to his ears, the petty challenge was a bit tedious. Charming. Albedo grinned cheerfully, rolling his eyes at the other's back. They moved across the hall, and the boy wondered what Riku's priorities were. Was the other moving blindly or did he have a further goal? At the very least, these rooms and doors were labeled, making it easier to narrow down what existed inside. Still, which areas were picked would speak a lot of the kind of things this one held important. Unless it was, in the end, only random ( ... )

There was nothing much here, and it made sense; if they decided to keep a patient here, why would there be anything strange? But then, that wasn't something they could know for sure. Riku did thorough jobs when he needed to, or else other people, like his friends, would insist on coming back and scouring the same ground. It seemed tedious now, but later, it would come in handy.

"Still," he explained, "it's worth checking out. We don't know anything for sure." It was a more passive way of expressing his feelings, but his actions didn't show any passiveness. He stepped out, checked another room, and then another, and then motioned to leave the hall.

"Nothing here, after all. I don't do my jobs half-way." It wasn't an entire jab at Albedo, but it was enough of one to show that he had his own ideas in mind. "Maybe the next place'll be harder to get in to."

With that said, back into the hall he went.
