The doors made a satisfying bang on Erika's way out, but it did little to improve her mood as she stomped her way down the hallway (why did the boy take one of the tapestries? It didn't make any sense and for some reason, that irritated her even more) and to the door they entered the hallway through. Perhaps now that their challenge was done, Erika was expecting the door to be open, so she looked rather shocked when the door didn't yield to her attempts to throw those open as well. Even when she pressed her entire weight onto it, the door didn't budge. In frustration, she threw herself at it one more time, before realizing the horrible truth ( ... )
