Going postal was going to get a new, more brutal definition very, very soon. Once he made Castiel shut up and stop asking stupid questions. Did he really think this guy was gonna just spill the freaking beans? Humans in power always got off on waving it about the heads of those who didn't have it.

Angels and humans had a lot more in common than the former side would ever like to admit.

"Stop talking, Castiel," he spat, turning his head to barely spy his brother in his peripheral vision. He wasn't sure if his powers could extend to where he stood off to the side, but chances are it'd be a big, fat no. If they did, he could easily move him elsewhere. Like a nice little pocket dimension where Castiel could stop talking, gagged by socks for a short eternity while he did his work here.

In the end, Castiel wasn't given useful answers from anyone who he'd questioned. The general brushed him off, telling him to wait and see. The angel was in no mood for simply watching and waiting, but even as he tried to step up onto the edge of the balcony, he came against an invisible resistance, as if he was walking right into a wall rather than thin air. It felt far too similar to attempting to enter a building that had wards on it, and he was forced to step back ( ... )
