Night 57: Main Hallway, 1-West

[ from here ]As Erika approached the meeting spot, she was pleased to see that she was, indeed, first to reach there. This was to be expected: Erika was closest to this particular hallway and she could have given the others a minute's head start and still probably beat them while walking at a leisurely pace. But Erika had hurried to get here and ( Read more... )

[from here ... also presumably handwaving Sora being here]There was one other thing: he needed someone knowledgeable enough to tell him what was up. Was the only change a new guy in charge who offered rewards for following his quests? The tips from before all seemed fishy, and that was why Riku had made it a goal to sort through them and figure out what was relevant. If something was irrelevant, there was no point to the club looking after it. With awards in place, there seemed to be more of a point in going after them. But would this all turn into the same thing as before? Was it all a wild goose chase? Had enough days even passed to be able to tell? The one thing he noticed, though, was that this seemed like a first time deal. That was an important factor ( ... )

[from here ... and handwaving a sibling...]

The boy trod into the hall leisurely, eying the details of the shotgun closely, holding it near to see it well in the half-light. For the man having it in his possession for two days, it actually seemed like he hadn't touched it. How... truly surprising. The different aspects of the people here were starting to become interesting, and really--what else was there to focus on? Of course Albedo would try these concoctions tonight--there was little else to do, and at any rate, he had received enough of chemicals against his will here, might as well gain some of his own efforts. As if he would be concerned on the well-being of his body. To his knowing, there was no reason to think that he would internally heal any different. Outward regeneration might have slowed, but....

Ah, but that was not the point to make. He'd do well to gain some toys here, if he wasn't to kill Klavier for a time being. That girl was missing, Albedo had looked, so there was little to occupy his attentions towards. Peter ( ... )

The clicking sound wasn't so far from him, so it wasn't difficult to catch Riku's attention. His fingers slid fast around his flashlight and he flicked the switch to turn the light onto Albedo. It wasn't the familiar face that he noticed, though, but the rounds and the gun itself. Compared to his bat (and his hidden, but still not fully tested within the boundaries of this place, keyblade), it was far more useful. Riku himself had never used one, but he'd seen enough along the way. This guy was small, but that didn't mean he couldn't hold his own. And with the way he was loading that weapon ( ... )

Like before, the weight was easily managed--it was the mass and awkward length that would place his accuracy less. If possible, he'd do well to accompany Yomi to Doyleton again, and see if there were things other than an oversized, out of date, limited ammunition weapon to be found. He was staring at it, not amused at what he had been reduced to, when his eyes registered motion nearby. His gaze flicked up, watching as a person approached him, not, perhaps, that much older but ( ... )

What an interesting way to put it, but it didn't surprise Riku that this place managed to grab a few people like that. After all, the Organization was made up of thirteen people, and the only "normal" one was Roxas-and that was stretching the definition of normal. After all, the word only applied to his personality and nothing else. If twelve out of thirteen people randomly pulled together by some unusual bond could be that way, then people here could be the same. Then again, they were all shells, but ... Landel's had a way of messing with people. Changing them. He knew well enough how badly Kairi was altered ( ... )

Albedo maintained the expression, wondering idly if this one was on drugs. Was it common, from he was from, to come up to another and expel your business like it was something cared about? Nicely convenient that they had the same place in mind, but he was wondering more and more what could be gained from this one's company. A bit too talkative, and a part of him understood the mild hypocrisy of that thought. Ignored it, and watched the teen further ( ... )
