Hm. A good deal taller. Albedo instantly became vaguely annoyed as he had to glance upward a good amount to view the other.
In general, something like that could be viewed as an offhand threat. He blinked at the teen sedately, knowing where the other's eyes went and what he carried himself. Albedo excelled in terms of weaponry here, and with that in mind... Was this person asking to team up because of that? The boy's eyebrows raised on his forehead incredulously. "I planned on spending my time with chemicals and consumption but if you have something more interesting in mind...."

"That's just what I planned on," he said firmly. "I just woke up. Got back from ... somewhere." He shrugged. "So I didn't want to waste my time seeing what they were offering to us." It was a lot of information to supply, at least for him, but he knew the necessity of it. Besides, a gun could be useful. For so long when he ran into random people he needed to assist him, he relied upon holding back information until it was absolutely necessary. This time, he was showing half his hand and not giving any idea of the rest. It was thinking smart.

The bat was nothing impressive--other than the firearm, Albedo had two combat knives concealed under his jacket at his back. This and tricks, was it? Obviously, one could consider abilities, but the wording was nothing but faulty. Especially after talking to Peter after this morning, Albedo only moved to an amusing conclusion. And then that last utterance.
All right. He conceded. This might be amusing if it was to be allowed. The boy shrugged exaggeratedly, a hand lifting in a what-can-you-do gesture. "We'll see about who holds who up. Turning tricks isn't as useful in this place as you'd think. Nevertheless...." He went on, walking forward. "There might be some monsters you can charm, mm?~"
