[Teleporting in from
here]The room was as small and dark as Soma remembered it being, with no indication that anyone had been here previously. No clues as to where they were, either, though now that she thought about it, she remembered several rooms on her maps indicating that they might contain files

"What do you think the letters are for?" she asked as she stepped up to one of the cabinets and pulled out a drawer. Soma had brought up stuff that might be on the papers; should she search under 'C' for 'confidential information'? "They don't need that many categories, do they?"
On second thought, it reminded her of the place she and Scarecrow had found, with all the stuff from fake lives in it. Mele's suggestion had merit, though, and she headed to the nearest cabinet, jiggling the handle experimentally. Locked. Of course. Well, that wouldn't stop her. Soma stepped back and slammed the butt of her flashlight methodically against the drawer, only stopping when the lock finally shattered. She set the battered flashlight down on top of the cabinet and pulled the drawer open, rifling through the packed documents inside.
"Names," she confirmed, pulling out a file and showing it to Mele: Franklin, Marie. "I don't recognize these, but it stands to reason they aren't people's real names. They might be patients--maybe ours are even here."

There was a faint rustle of papers from Mele's side of the room, but Soma didn't comment on it--she'd probably found her own file. Marsh, Courtney. Maya, Chelsea. McAvoy, Jane--Medvedeva, Maria. She pulled it out and flipped open the folder, frowning a little at the photograph of the tired-looking girl staring out at her.
"Nothing much," she said in response to Mele's question. "It might be useful, though. Therapy and visitor sessions seem to go by faster when you act like you know what you're talking about."
