In a way, this silence was nice. Zack didn't have to deal with someone taunting him over the intercom and could just focus on the task at hand. Not that moving down hallways was all that difficult, but when it was hard to see and there was the chance that there was a monster ready to pounce somewhere out there, it did become kind of tough.
Still, there were only a couple of other patients around, which meant that Zack was unhindered as he moved from where his hall emptied out down to the block's exit. He had his materia in his pocket as usual, and couldn't help but wonder if he should go find Taura and her friend and give them a quick lesson. Though he had to admit part of that was just wanting to see that Cure materia for himself. It had to be put to some good use, didn't it?
