[From

He didn't know if everyone else was just being lazy or if it was because he hadn't spent as much time getting all his belongings in order, but it didn't really matter. It was better this way, when he didn't have to slip around

And the first stop for this exciting nightshift was... a dark and empty hallway. Either he was the first one out here tonight, or that weird time thingy that sometimes happened had made him really, really late. Not that Wally should really be complaining about empty hallways, since the other option could always include hallways that were dark and empty except for a monster that hadn't had dinner yet. And him with a broken arm and a damaged flashlight. Yeah, he wouldn't bet on that one ending well for him.
So it was all the more reason for him to keep moving, pushing out into what was likely the next action-packed hallway.

Ippo decided the best plan of action was to just run. Run until he got to Ritsuka's room, run past anyone or thing that got in his way. If nothing else, he would get some exercise in while he did his best to stay alive until those chicken fingers were his.
The going was awkward with a heavy flashlight bobbing up and down in his grip. With every sprinting move, the butt of the flashlight would swipe him on the side and thigh. It was annoying, but the alternative, a dark scary hallway, was worth a bit of pain.

Hallway was as dark as always. What a pain. He really needed to find one of those illuminating tools that some people seemed to have found somewhere. They weren't exactly strong or effective, really, but they were better than nothing. But Snow had already been down this same path several times, so he already knew the way to go. All he had to do was follow the wall. Nothing to worry about.
What he did have to kinda worry about was finding Light. They were supposed to meet up again after exploring the town a little, but they'd never managed to find each other again. ...Well, okay. Maybe Snow had kinda gotten distracted and lost track of how much time had passed exactly. But there was a lot to look at! So... it was like he was distracted by doing what he'd been asked to do. Or something ( ... )

A quiet hall, just like the last - only the sound of someone running away from the patient block to be heard. Grell turned his head toward the sound of retreating footsteps and caught the tail end of someone's flashlight bobbing along the hall before the stranger was out of sight.
It was somewhat eerie how everything here was so dead still for once. Usually Grell found himself among the rush of patients as they fled for more dangerous and fruitful locales. Tonight, however, all was silent. Perhaps the intercom had been a portent of what was to come: a night of silence.
How very boring.
But convenient. With a glance around to ensure no one would see him, Grell ducked into the restroom.

The halls were quiet, though Claude moved quietly through the dark. To be honest, he wasn't quite sure what he'd wind up doing tonight. Due to Doyleton's lack of structure, it was difficult to make contact with people via the bulletin board. Not only that, but today was the first time he'd gone on that trip and not bumped into Guy at some point. He hadn't thought about it much before, but going the whole time without seeing the other man felt strange.
He knew that there was a high chance they'd just missed each other, but it still put Claude on edge.
That was why, when he moved into the next hall and saw a familiar figure, he breathed an inward sigh of relief. Claude wondered if Guy had been waiting to check up on him, or if he'd agreed to meet someone else here. Either way, it was good to see him.
"Hey," he greeted as he approached his friend. His eyes lingered on the leather jacket for a moment, the corner of his mouth twitching upward. "How was your day?"

"Oh, um, no, I don't have any plans," he quickly answered. "I was hoping we could stick together tonight." Claude flashed a quick smile. "I mean, if you've already got stuff to do, I understand, but..."
After all, Guy had several friends here aside from himself. It wasn't such a stretch that he'd already decided on something to do. Then again, even if that was the case, there probably wasn't any reason that Claude couldn't come along, right?
That thought made him relax a little. It was a comfort to have such a reliable friend in the institute. Claude knew he was very lucky in that regard.
