Night 55: Cafeteria

[from here]The cafeteria appeared deserted. This was unsurprising, given how much one generally had to go through to get this far. If others were on their way here and hadn't yet made it, then chances were he'd made the right decision by deciding to go around the long way. He'd continue to use that method in the future if necessary

"Ah, so that's how it works..." Brook noted as he realized where they had ended up. Bypassing things made sense when you could see what you were doing, but in the darkness of the evening, it took until he could see the route's end to understand how the path had worked. Now he could say he knew three ways to the basement.

His sightseeing was again shortened since Sai wanted to keep to the walls. The young man didn't even stop to shake off the shivers from the outside air! Brook gave a short huff to rid himself of some goosebumps (that he was surprisingly more used to than he'd have thought), then continued his roll as tag-along. It was not far now until they reached the basement.

The ninja was very grateful not to have run into anything so far. There were only a couple rooms remaining until they reached their destination. Hopefully, their luck would old out and they wouldn't find themselves confronted right before they made it to the stairs. That would just be incredibly unfortunate.
