This was odd. It didn't seem as if anyone had been through the previous room, and yet someone had clearly been through this one, however brief. Considering one had to make it through the cafeteria to get to here, this was a disconcerting sign. It might mean that there was something else in the room waiting for them.
He was reminded uncomfortably of the time he'd been brainwashed by the Institute and set waiting in this very room. What if someone else was placed here now just as he had been? Haste was still a necessity, and they needed to make it to the walk-in refrigerator as quickly as possible.
He didn't stop to think whether or not Brook minded the pace. It wouldn't have mattered either way.
