Immediately, she couldn't help but worry about the hallway to her left. The hallucinations, the living nightmare … she tensed up just glancing down that way. Not having Pete around this time was making it a little harder to deal with. She pushed down the last part of her that was still distracted with worrying about if Peter was feeling better and walked across the hall, up into the hallway that was directly above the one that led to the male patient blocks.

That was more than enough reason for her to bail on the kitchen as a whole. She pulled her flashlight back out, clicking it on and moving to shut the fridge door on her way out. With any luck, it'd be like she was never there. Except for, of course, the broken lock. She headed straight back out onto the patio and down the hallway she'd come through.
Back out in the main hall, she shuddered, still feeling both disgusted with the fact that there'd been rats crawling around and annoyed with herself for being that freaked out by it when she'd come across way worse in her lifetime. She looked around, thoughtful, and hung a left towards where the sun room would be if she were on the first floor.
