Have to add my 2 cents...I too see Zayne as a viable relationship on many levels...they are warriors and Jayne is not as dense as he appears, he just has no polish.

Very well put and thought out. I can understand rotuing for an unpopular ship. Heck, I'm a Zal fan.

But there's one thing that keeps me from believing they'd get together unless Zoe got really, really, really drunk and that's his slow wit.

She just seems to me to be the kind of woman who likes her men with brains.

I'm gonna hafta say that he's got brains. He just doesn't seem to. He may be uneducated, judging from his comment in "Ariel," but I think he's smart.

I'm not the hugest Zal fan, but it seems to be growing on me, the more fic I read. Thanks for reading this, btw.
