I am finally happy to say that my adoption package from CAFAC has arrived! I now have all the information I need to get started on bringing Maylin home. It's going to cost a lot more than I thought so now I am decluttering and selling anything that doesn't move or that is hiding because I won't miss what I don't know I have.

*huge smile*

It's been a while since I have updated my journal and I have a lot on my mind and a lot going on in my life. I finally made the ultimate decision to adopt a baby from China. It's a beautiful 26oC today and I managed to get all my plants in the dirt. I am growing: Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Red Peppers, Green Peppers, Hot Peppers, Peas, Lettuce and some Flowers. I can't wait to have some fresh peas they are soo yummy ( Read more... )

Got bad news from the Adoption Agency today, they no longer allow single parent adoptions in China, there goes my dream. I guess it wasn't meant to be but I feel like my heart just broke for the little girl I will never get.

Sometimes I swear I work with idiots. Some of them just drive me up the wall and others just make me want to scream. I wish that I had another job. I really want to be an Au Pair somewhere in Europe, but it's not possible with all the debts and bills I have. I also wish a lot of things.

I am so excited to be seeing Il Divo tomorrow night, it's my first concert. Although I am nervous and anxious I am concentrating on being able to enjoy their music live for the first time.
