Whether he's consciously planned it or not, I think you're onto something. Stories and characters have a way of doing that, letting you know after you're tens of thousands of words or several eps or seasons in that what you thought you were setting up ... is actually something else with a rather amazing trail of breadcrumbs that have somehow come out your own fingertips

it's lookong like a prety huge plot to me

i felt sorry for people that only watch occasionally, i got my physio to watch dr who fo rthe first time and was a bit confused, poor guy. still... if he'd watched all the replays liek i told him to he would've understood!

i'm still not sure what to make of god!doctor, it's a big turn around that makes me think if he's in charge fo the laws eithr he ressurects the mastr for something or breaks the time lonk on the time war and tries to save the time lords

I'm kind of dubious as to whether that's true, but it's definitely an idea with a lot of appeal, so maybe I'll try and believe it, anyway. Heck, if it really does all hang together, thematically, it might not actually matter very much whether it's deliberate or not. (Mind you, it could still all fall apart in the end... *keeps fingers crossed*)

Hmm, fascinating. Certainly he's been exploring the idea of the Doctor as a dangerously powerful figure for a long time. It's quite possible that he's been planning this the whole time. He's certainly adept at planting hints and plot elements that don't bear fruit for a long time. On the other hand, the way this story melds with the past could easily have arisen from the alchemy of writing. The out of control Doctor plot might have been harder if there had been a normal S5 with a regular companion to anchor him instead of the specials that we had because of DT's decision to do Hamlet.
