Housewarming/birthday party is set for the weekend of the 27th. I'm planning on cooking up a storm, and so far I'll be making both spaghetti with meat sauce and sauteed mushrooms (homemade tomato sauce if I can get my mother to cough up her recipe, otherwiese I'll have to combine Prego with my special ingredients) and my famous breakfast tacos (

I regretfully have to miss this party. I was really looking forward to it too. I had thought it might be mid-May (13th & 14th), so I'd have a chance to attend.

I'm starting a new position and my new manager will be away for Memorial Day weekend (the weekend of your party) and I already told him that I didn't have any plans for that weekend and would be available to work if need be.

If I'd known, I would have tried to put in for that weekend off.

Make sure you take plenty of pics though!
