Oh, I do move the non-heirs out. But right now there are two elders (Dionne and Greg), three adults (Erin, Evan, and Emma), and three toddlers. I was going to kill off Greg, anyway, but I can't bring myself to get rid of Dionne. And I guess I could get rid of Emma, because I don't think I'll be having any more kids for that generation. But... meh. It's just all such a hassle. D:

I'm glad someone's on my side for starting over though, thanks!

It's actually not against the rules! :) I've got the legacy challenge rules memorized. I'm sick, I know. You can move out all the non-heirs you want, it's only breaking the "rules" if you move them back in. :)

As awesome as Danica was, the main coolness factor of the Dallases was the player writing about them. You'll be able to do an extremely awesome legacy no matter what CC or EPs you have or don't have, because you're you. And I'll look forward to reading it.

Just my two cents.

It sounds a lot more frustrating to extract them and start them basically all over again. If you're going to do that might as well just start a new legacy.

You're legacies are always a fun read, wiether it's story mode or comment mode. I'm sure we'll enjoy the new family as well.

I hope so, if I decide to do it. Thanks!

Any way you can preserve Danica for future posterity?

Seriously tho, I'd love to read whatever new legacy you start. Your Sims kickass!

Yeah, she (and all of the Dallases) are preserved in the BV files, so I'll put them up for download in any case.

Thanks!

First of all: It is so not silly to worry about it not being the "real Dallases". Sims are like legit people to us players, and creating lookalikes with planted personalities would be like building robots of all of your friends and trying to interact with them. You know, like at the beginning of season six when they were using the Buffy Bot to fool the demons into thinking the slayer was still alive, and everyone was like, "Man, you're not really Buffy, this is kind of creepy." I'm of course assuming everyone ever knows the storyline for Buffy.

Um.

Anyway, point the second: I love the Dallases, but I have to admit it's been harder to keep track of who's who since Danica died, and I have faith in you to continue doing awesome legacies, so if you'd be happier starting over, shit, woman, START OVER! :)

Yeah, never watched Buffy in my life, but I definitely agree with the idea! That's exactly how I feel, like it'd just be lookalikes, but not really them. I mean, maybe the regenerated Erin would be an awesome family Sim, instead of the absolute hilarious MESS of a family Sim she actually is, and that'd be so wrong!

LOL at finding it harder to keep track of who's who. Wouldn't it be that way with a new legacy, somewhere down the road, anyway?

Yes, it would! That's probably why I never finish mine and keep starting new ones. o_O

MOAR LOL at the "since Danica died" bit. Danica's the one that held everything together, isn't she.
