Drabble - Resurrection
I wasn't sure if there were going to be any more. This is for you, my love, because it is possible to say much in relatively few words...
He was lost. He was so lost he thought he would never find his way back but you were there. You were always there, just that he stopped seeing you. But you were his light in dark places when all other lights had gone out.
You held him; you cared when everyone else had stopped, you gave him hope when He thought hope had died. You kissed his scars, his ugly vicious scars, when the rest of the world recoiled you embraced him.
You kept your faith in him; you gave him hope. And today he repaid you, he laughed, it was only a tiny laugh but it showed, he’s kept the hope alive.
