Alright already! You people can shut up about all this stupid lovey-dove business already! Guess what? No one cares! So can it already! Yeesh.
So now that you're all shutting up about your sad and empty personal lives, what's with all this
heart shaped candy in the store? All of this stuff written on it is stupid and they taste almost as bad as

Um...I-I think it's just for...Valentine's Day...
[She realizes too late who it is- oh dear lord, it's that dragon thing that tried to abduct her.
...Somehow though, he seems less...traumatizing this time around. Some part of her attempts to grasp ahold of the receding panic, but...it just doesn't seem to be working.]

But she thinks she'll take that walk now. Maybe linger a bit near the fountain where Bowser suggested, sitting on the edge and smoothing her skirt out nervously while Brown circled near his master; he doesn't much care for this new feeling around the village.
It's a foolish hope, but...if he suggested it, then maybe he passes by here with his dog. Jennifer cranes her neck to catch a wider range of vision- such a stupid hope to have, but...
...She wants to see him. It's hard to remember how harsh and gruff he was before- and how completely terrified she was of him -with that strange, fluttering feeling in her chest.]

... maybe he should have dressed up. In disguise, you know. So he'd be less obvious. But it was too late for that. He conceals his weapons of war behind his back and reveals himself, stalking towards her determinedly. It's all this. Do or die.
He stands before her, raising himself to his full height, and pointing his free hand at her.]
BWA HA HA HA HA!!! So you came out here after all!

But of course, once Jennifer realizes who it is, much of that flight response begins to ebb away, replacing it with a much different sort of nervousness. Meaning...she's still a bit intimidated, but at the same time...well, she just didn't want him to go away. She had hoped to see him again here, after all.
Jennifer stares up at him with wide eyes for a moment- before her lips curve upward into a gentle, nervous smile.]
It...it was you who suggested I should, right?
[Unfortunately, despite Jennifer's newfound feelings for the Koopa King, Brown does not trust Bowser one bit and sits stubbornly by Jennifer's side, fur bristling and eying him warily.]

Well he needs to say something before he looks stupid. Well...]
Yeah, well, you shouldn't go listening to what people say. Some jerk might be planning to trap you and make off with you!
[... which is what he was planning to do. But this is more like a very unhappy warning about what her silliness could have caused.]

But it is very clear that dog does not trust him.
Ah, but alas, her smile flickers back into a more troubled expression once he brings this to her attention. She's had more than her share of being carried off into unknown places, thank you very much, and the thought of it happening again is unsettling, to say the least. She twists nervously at the hem of her skirt.]
...Do you truly think someone would do that?
[Poor, sweet Jennifer, not suspecting a thing.]

With her smile gone, it's easier for Bowser to get into the spirit of how things were supposed to work. No concern for her safety or trying to appease her. If she was frightened, that's a good thing! Maybe. Kinda. He felt kind of like a jerk right now.]
It's a bad guy thing. Find pretty girls, go and kidnap them. And then some chump hero rescues her. Same old story. [He grunts unhappily at the conclusion.]
Not that anyone would do it while I'm standing here. Who would want to risk messing with someone big, bad, and awesome like me?
[Not that he is saying he'd indirectly protecting her or anything, oh no.]

[Not much in real life, though.
No one rescues you in the real world. You have to pull the trigger yourself.]
...No, I suppose they wouldn't. You are very...
[Terrifying? Intimidating? Menacing?]
...Impressive.
...A-are you staying here long...?
[...Strange, it almost seems like she's asking him to stay. Now that Bowser brought it to her attention that just anyone could pick her up and make off with her, Jennifer is a fair bit more uneasy about being alone now.
And of course, logic dictates that she shouldn't be suspicious of the giant, spiked dragon thing in front of her, though the circumstances in which they met last time were...less than ideal.]

[There's a strong sense of attachment forming. The kind of bond he only forms with his closest of minions. He'd sent her against Mario, sure. But if that plumber gave her any crap, he'd be answering to Bowser. Actually, now that he thinks about it, that faucetfreak would have to get through Bowser first. Some henchmen you keep in reserve because they're special.]
Maybe. For now. Until I get bored or something.
[Which may not exactly happen soon, but, he's not going to go off saying he wants to be here or anything. Now he fidgets a bit, holding the 'bait' behind his back still. Should he just dump it or give it to her?]

...Things just felt so much safer with him around.]
...Thank you. I'm very grateful.

Uh. This is for you. It was lying around in the store and you were whining about not getting anything, so I grabbed it. Not like it's a big deal or anything.

Hesitantly, she reaches out and touches her fingers lightly to one of the flower petals. Soft, and real, and perfect. Her eyes flicker upward to gaze at him uncertainly.]
F-for me...?

Well, yeah. Who else do you think they're for, the dog? Yeesh...

...It's all so lovely...thank you.

Yeah, sure. You're welcome. Just don't go acting like it matters or anything. I could've gave 'em to anyone.

No, really...it means so much that you-
[...And suddenly it hits her.]
B-but I don't have anything for you!
