What is up with that? I bought packs of actual bath salts from Wal-Mart to bring back to London with me, so I could, you know, have nice, relaxing baths, and was afraid customs was going to arrest me for possession.

Anyway, did not realize I haven't posted since June, so here it goes!

Oh, hello there! I was wondering whether you were still in the US, as I didn't hear from you in a while. It's nice to know you've been busy with lots of RL-related stuff: I hope you can remain in the UK for good, so I'm crossing my fingers for you to get a nice full-time job in London!

I don't know if you have time for this, given how busy you currently are, but I'm coming to London with a couple of friends for a week from 22nd to 29th August (that's next week!), and I was wondering if you fancied meeting up one evening for a drink at a pub in central London: I was thinking of The Old Shades, which is conveniently located, but suggestions of alternative locations are welcome. Culf is invited too, of course, if she's back in England already. I was planning to invite also Fern_tree, mountland and possibly also fawsley and elfbert, if they're not too busy. We all have Life on Mars, Sherlock and several other fandoms in common, so I guess there will be no shortage of topics of conversation. What do you say ( ... )
