Quick note to say that even though I'm only through Part 1 and half of Part 2, I am loving this SOOOO MUCH.

Casefic FTW! Ensemblefic! And post-episodefic too! With multiple POVs! *swoons* This is every kind of wonderful.

And so brilliantly written, I'm being absolutely swept away by the story. It's a shame I have to get back to work! *shifty eyes*

Which I would repeat here and now, except that I've forgotten exactly what I said.

But basically, it was that this fic is AWESOME, and that having finished it, I want to go back and reread it, paying even closer attention to the nuances and the differences. I adore unreliable narrators, and not knowing here exactly who's being unreliable when -- and especially, who done it! -- makes for a very enticing read. So now I want to go back and see if my impression at the end of the fic is supported by a second, closer look <333

It's been so long since I've written a long LoM fic and I really liked doing the multiple POVs because it helped me get in touch with the characters again.

Thanks so much! It was hard keeping track of who said what at times and what had or hadn't changed. I think I've made more notes on this than any other fic I've written.

This is fabulous! I love all the different POV's and how there are minor differences (like Ray not owning up to Sam having asked him if he was OK, for instance). And of course, we will never know for sure if Sam did flip and murder Simon Lamb.... I want to believe that he didn't and I'm 95% (maybe more) certain he didn't...

And the artwork is adorable! Now I know why Sam looks as if he's crying....

This is great! :D I love the subtle differences in everyone's stories depending on what they remember (or are willing to remember!), and the way it's all constructed is so clever! I found myself trying to work it all out as I read along XD
