I'm still trying to get help from Verizon to re-hookup my home Internet.  Meanwhile I am using public computers for Internet access.  There are things I cannot do on the pupblic computer, such as put up birthday cards for my LJ friends or log into my NYT Xword Puzzles.  It's been a week now since I shut down, and I think it's about time they hook
