So the professional pictures finally came in.  But the way they are posted on the website is horrible - all jumbled together so you'll see 3 pictures of bridesmaids, then something from the reception. There are also a couple where one of us is closing their eyes - i know this happens, but the man took like 4 versions of every shot, he couldn't find

My eyes were closed in like 90% of our pictures. Then I had an angry/tired look in alot of them too. It just works that way sometimes. You can pick the one or two you like a ton and get them framed and then have the others to remember the day. Your photographer was great so I hope you aren't mad at him. I thought he worked hard and kept things on time and fairly jovial. Try to stay positive! *HUGS*

Thanks for the reality check ... It didn't help that it took 2 months to get the photos - i had really built them up in my head.

He was a great photographer and the pictures i'm sure are great - i just need to take a step back and enjoy them! :)

I'm sorry you're unhappy with some of the pictures. I really hope that you find the ones you like when it's a bit more organized. *hugs again*

I'm sure I will - I had just built it up in my head.

No matter what, we got married and these document the day. Sometimes I did blink and sometimes I was talking and sometimes my arm was at a weird angle - unfortunately a larger percentage of those got caught on film than i would have liked, but whatever. There are a few that are great and I will focus on those! :)

I had a similar disappointment in my pictures. For me it was a cleavage issue. I thought...why did no one tell me I was showing major cleav. (I probably wouldn't of cared at the moment anyway! And what could I have done about it?) And then there were beautiful shots of us...the cool, artsy shots you see on every photographer's homepage. You the ones where we look elegant and so in love. But, there were about five great shots, so I just got lots of copies of those. My memory is that you looked absolutely beautiful at your wedding and I'm sure that's reflected in your pics, just not as many as you would of liked, I guess.

I was just the opposite: I loved my wedding pics at first, but became more critical of them after time. You and your wedding were absolutely beautiful, and I think organization will make a big difference! Is there a link we can go to and look?
