Seymour hadn't really gone very far from his home when he spotted the crabs. They seemed to have been pretty quiet lately and that wasn't really what he wanted to hear. The number of bites lately had been very good to hear and the severity of them even better. He liked knowing that the possibility was there for even more of the monsters and these were just from the people he had heard of. Perhaps, like in the case of Mr. Andrew Basil, there were more who had been bitten, more who had not gone for help until it was too late, until they were beyond the reach of capable Healers... Perhaps the next Cloverfield monster was just around the corner ( ... )

Elphaba knocked on the door to Seymour's apartment. On her return from the daily mapping of crab activity, she had made a supply run, getting supplies for her buildingmate as well as herself, and decided that she would bring him his share and ask her friend to join her for lunch. It was rather boring, being on her own much of the time, and company would be quite welcome.

Upon being invited into the apartment, she called out to Seymour, "I collected some food this morning, and was wondering if you'd care to join me for lunch?" As she spoke, she made a quick detour to the kitchen, leaving his food there, before looking around the apartment in search of Seymour.

She thought it a bit odd that she found him in bed and resting, giving him a look of mild concern and inquiring, "Are you alright?"

From the moment he'd heard that tell-tale knock on the door, Seymour had known his plans were rocking a bit. Still, he wasn't going to let them go without a fight and so he murmured a greeting to Elphaba and decided to pretend he had a cold. It would make things easier.

"You are so very kind," he told her easily, glancing up as her head appeared in the doorway to his room. "I am quite all right. It is nothing more than a cold. I appear to have worn myself out. It will pass in due time."

That he had so much as hesitated before allowing her to leave in search of a Healer shocked Elphaba. After personally witnessing the effects of a bite left too long, he didn't feel more concern at his injury!? Whether he had consented or not, she would have made sure he received help, so she was certainly glad he had given in. Elphaba didn't want to lose his friendship over her having acted in his best interests. Grasping her broom a little too tightly in her focus and concern, the witch flew in the direction of the one Healer she knew without doubt where to find ( ... )

Sora was in the middle of a "shift change," as it were. Riku had just seen him off to go take a nap, and he was supposed to meet up with Goofy in the lobby. Not that Sora didn't love being around his friends, but it was a little strange having them watching him every minute of every day, even when he was asleep. But none of the Healers had vanished yet, so they had to be doing the right thing!

He was interrupted by the sudden appearance of Elphaba, though. He hadn't seen much of her, and they'd disagreed over some things, but he didn't consider her any sort of bad guy. And then she mentioned what she was here for.

"Seymour?!" Sora's heart skipped a beat when he remembered the troubles he'd gone through before with that guy. He didn't like him at all, but Sora was absolutely not going to let things get worse by having him become another monster. "Yeah, of course I'll come heal him ( ... )

Despite being sure he would help, Elphaba still experienced a small wave of relief when Sora agreed to come with her. She wasn't quite sure what his hesitation was for, so she asked, "Do you need anything before we go? ...We can fly there, so we don't have to worry about crabs." Her offer was genuine. She would either let him ride with her, or enchant his own mode of transportation. It was the least she could do in exchange for her friend's Healing.

The moment Elphaba had left was the moment Seymour sprang into action. Moving as quickly as he could in his present condition, he changed into clothes that wouldn't impede his movement or show his arms. He didn't need to give the Healer a really good shot at the wound. No, what he needed was an ambush ( ... )

Having arrived home without incident, Elphaba led the way up to Seymour's apartment. "Seymour," she called out, opening the door without waiting for an answer, "I brought a healer."

The witch walked in, stopping short in surprise when she saw him changed and sitting up in the living room. "What are you doing out of bed!?" she exclaimed.

Sora followed immediately behind Elphaba, with the Keyblade already out and ready. His shoulders and chest were still sore from the wings protruding from his back, but it was a lot easier to manage now. He knew that either he or Billy could take care of a crab bite, but he figured that he could try and heal it himself for now. If Seymour did anything stupid after his energy was drained, he trusted Billy to defend him...and conversely, if Seymour did something stupid before he tried to cure him, Billy could still take care of the bite.

But for now, Sora was determined for this to go well. Seymour had kept his promise and not harmed anyone since Sora had asked it of him...so for now, Sora decided that he wasn't going to assume the worst. It was just nice to take precautions.

He found the blue-haired man sitting up in the living room, looking strangely...tense. It could have just been the bite. "Don't worry, we're gonna cure that," Sora reassured Elphaba as much as he did Seymour.
