Nomination of Vice-President Candidates futurethug August 3 2009, 03:38:33 UTC
Banging her gavel, Yachiru stood and said, "Okay, first order on the agenda is the nomination of a vice-president, so lets hear some nominations. Duties of the vice president are to keep the meetings minutes, handle the budget, and help decide the agenda for future meetings."

Hoping on top of the podium, she pointed the gavel like a sword and said, "Okay, who's up to the task!"

The glasses Yachiru was wearing were extremely cute in her opinion. She smiled at everybody because this seemed like it was going to be a fun sort of club. Not that Giselle really understood what clubs were, but it was a gathering of people and had 'fun' written all over it.

At first, Giselle wasn't sure what a vice-president was, but Yachiru explained the task brilliantly. So, Giselle could think of only one person who would be perfect for the job of vice-president, and it was the person who had escorted her to the Mansfield in case of trouble. "I think Riza Hawkeye would make a wonderful vice president," she said, smiling at Riza who was standing across the room.

MWA Calender futurethug August 3 2009, 03:39:18 UTC
Once the matter of the vice-presidential election had been settled, Yachiru shuffled her drawings to the next item on the agenda. "Okay, now our next item on the agenda is the creation of the annual MWA calender. We will need suggestions on who should be featured on this calender, and how best to obtain their image whether they want it or not. The purpose will be to boost moral within the city, and raise the prestige of our noble society. Once were done with that, I'll open the floor to new suggestions."

Again wielding her gavel like a sword, she gestured around and said, "Who wants to go first?"

Orihime had come, because her friend was organizing it. Yachiru was adorable in her glasses, and Inoue was in complete agreement with Giselle's opinion of them. Now that she thought about it, she really wasn't sure exactly what a Women's Association did. The second item on Yachiru's agenda, however, gave her a bit of pause.

Sitting close to the podium, her voice probably wasn't loud enough for quite everyone to hear when she called softly, "Yachiru-chan... I think it's wonderful that you want to boost morale in the city! But should we really be taking people's pictures without their permission?

Haruka still wasn't sure why she was even here. She supposed it was out of restless boredom mostly. Normally she would never have showed up for a "meeting" like this. However, it was a "woman's" association, so at least she would be in cute company.

She leaned back in her chair as Yachiru babbled on about vice-presidents and calendars. Haruka couldn't help but smile mildly in amusement, there was only one person she wanted to take pictures of, however it probably wouldn't be good for the kids in the room.

Jenna had been feeling bored throughout the first part of the meeting. Picking a new vice president? She didn't know any of these people anyway so she really wasn't following. She didn't even always bother to vote for President of the United States, let alone vice president of a women's club in a mangled, monster infested New York.

But she perked up immediately at the mention of a Calender and, more importantly, taking pictures.

She jumped up excited, waving her hand. "I want to be in the calendar! I was Miss October for the National Enquirer's yearly 'Funniest Paparazzi' calendar!" she exclaimed, almost giddy.

Then another idea occurred to her. She'd been stalked by the paparazzi before, but she'd never tried to be one.

"I used to get pictures taken of me without me knowing all the time," she added, excluding the part where most of said pictures involved her being passed out. "Most paparazzi are idiots anyway, it can't be that hard to take sneaky pictures of people, right?"
