Sephiroth had had a very bad feeling the moment he had read Vincent's post on the network. Though he had tried to find out what was going on, Vincent had been either too stubborn to say or...Well, the roar and the crash at the end of their conversation put an end to Sephiroth's guessing. He knew little of Chaos as both Vincent and Lucrecia had been reluctant to speak of it to him but what else could it have been

Perfect! The silver one was weakening. Time to go in for the kill, if the alarming amount of blood splattering all over the concrete was any indication. Smirking devilishly, the red-cloaked man snarled and charged forward once more, claws extended...

Until something got in his path and hit him hard in the face.

In an almost dog-like whine, the ex-Turk went down hard, hitting the concrete with a solid thud and landing on his bad arm. Disoriented, confused, and overall dazed, the man attempted to pick himself up clumsily swaying from the effort. The crimson aura around him began to fade, though it was still lightly there. The metallic claw of the gauntlet scraped against the concrete, almost as if he were in pain, and he shook his head.

Through the red haze, he managed to make out a face. Female. Black hair. Weird clothes.

And a fan.

"Yu... ffie..." He managed, falling back to the ground gently and curling up in pain. "...wha.. t's... happen... ing?"

Despite the angry humiliation over the fact that he was apparently being saved by Yuffie of all people, Sephiroth had to give her credit for being courageous. He wasn't sure of anyone else who could just slap Chaos the way she just had.

And it seemed to have worked too. Vincent was becoming himself again. Just as well, because Sephiroth was not sure he could fight in his condition. Weakening from pain and blood loss, he sank to his knees, breathing harshly.

This was very far from what he had originally intended. Distracted Valentine, draw him back away from Genesis and avoid getting hit himself. That had been Sephiroth's plan. But here here he was, bleeding profusely from two wounds. If he did not receive help soon, there was a danger he would pass out - a phenomenally bad idea anywhere in Manhattan, never mind in front of someone having trouble regaining control of their humanity and was the cause of his injuries.

Nothing. Vincent had said it was nothing. Auron hadn't believed him then, and the entry Vincent had made not long after only validated his suspicions. The warrior hadn't even bothered to reply. There was no time for that. Whatever it was that was happening, it left no room for wait. He only read over the rest of the replies to learn where the red-cloaked man was headed

He told her to stay away, but as far as Rinoa was concerned that had only been a suggestion from Vincent and she could decide whether she followed it or not, obviously she had decided not to plus she had told him that she was going anyway and she was never one to fail to a promise and she wasn't going to start now, not especially when she considered that a friend was in trouble and needed help and sincerely she really wasn't the type of person that wouldn't help a person that needed it
