Aya had required a much needed rest once everything was over.

The events in which the video replayed in addition to the events prior to that, she felt like she was about ready to sleep for a decade. But there was no rest for the wicked, as the saying went, as there would be no sense in rest for a busy woman like her. Plus, sleep sounded like a distant hope after everything that she had went through these past few months.

She looked better rested now. The bags that had been ever-present underneath her tired eyes had faded into a slightly healthier visage after several hours of undisturbed sleep. Or, if she had been disturbed in any way, she didn’t remember any of it. She had no energy left in her at the time to be confused or angry of frustrated at all. Even now, she still couldn’t wrap her head around how she felt about the whole thing.

Disappearing from one side of the island to the complete opposite, however, had left her with a sense of question and doubt. Never had she heard or seen or felt anything like that before, and that

Although he’d already gotten some idea of what had happened from Daniel’s earlier message over the network, the Doctor was glad to have another opportunity to watch the video tape. Perhaps there was something he’d missed, some small detail in the footage, that would help explain all this. If they could only unravel this new mystery and figure out precisely what had happened that day, then maybe they could actually uncover some concrete information about this place - along with the how and the why of their captivity here, if they were really lucky

"I have to disagree." a lighthearted voice jumped in soon after the Doctor finished talking. Chao leaned over from her chair and rested her arms on the table. The young Chinese-martian girl looked like her usual perky and pleasantly cheerful self, only it was a little downtrodden by exhaustion. Dark lines hung around her eyes and the constant small smile looked a little worn out and forced. She had spent complete previous night mulling over equations and numbers, trying to find some facts in the possibilities at what they saw. however, even the future genius like herself was scratching the bottom the barrel on this one. This kind of scared her to a degree

Harry listened to the others talk, unusually quiet for him. He found in situations like this one, when he wasn't in any sort of immediate horrible peril, that it was best to take in what was said and process all available information before speaking
