Basketball sure didn't compare to American football, Mizumachi believed--he'd tried it when he was younger and it just hadn't been challenging enough to be fun--possibly because he was a good foot taller than anyone else he played with, but either way. However, he was still dribbling a basketball as he walked along the streets of Manhattan, searching out some fun--when he spotted the absolute last person he'd ever expected to see again.
That shout was more familiarity than he would ever need. Even if he were blind, it was obvious who would be calling out his name. Of course, that meant many confusing things in turn. Why was that person here and how? If this was a dream, it was in poor taste.
"Kakei, duuuuuuuuuude!" The ball bounced away, forgotten, as Mizumachi ran up to Kakei and probably surprised the hell out of his friend by grabbing him in a tight hug that actually lifted him off the ground, squeezing the life out of him. "Oh man, you have no idea how happy I am to see you, man!" Mizumachi had to put him down then, still beaming at him. "But like, how did you get here?"
Kakei really hadn't been expecting that, but then again, it was Mizumachi. If the brunet started to find the taller blond predictable, well then, there was a problem. If the hug had gone on any longer, the blue-eyed linebacker would've had to struggle free himself.
Kakei liked breathing, despite any other belief, but he managed a very small smile nonetheless. It quickly faded as the quiet giant thought over the situation.
"I was hoping this was just a dream... Why are we in America? What happened here?"
