Characters: Raiel, Hamel, Lute. Flute and Garnet a bit later. This is pretty public so if you were there you probably heard/saw it but ask first if you think your char would absolutely step in.
Content: Raiel and Hamel get to meet Lute in person for the first time. It doesn't go too well!

It was an understatement to say that Hamel was tired. It had been a week since he had last had a decent night's sleep and his body still hadn't fully recovered from the Assault on Central Park that had happened a few days ago. In fact, these last few days have been nothing but a blur for Hamel. Nothing really jumped out at him a side from the thought of rescuing Flute from wherever she was. Of course, fighting the big monster Clover to reach that goal certainly didn't do much for his health. He did manage to get well acquainted with a few building walls out of the event, though they were a little to rough for his personal taste ( ... )

Lute had spent the entire time doing what he had resolved to do, and that was defend the place the party would be returning to. No question or care to his own well being, he had fought with the sole idea of making sure everyone else, including those fighting with him, were safe. In doing so he had resorted to magic, which was a surprising drain. One barrier spell and megido flame had him feeling like had done nothing but cast high level spells all day. Luckily for him though, that had been enough to keep the crab count low enough to pick off by hand. It also had given everyone else easier shots ( ... )

Raiel stopped.

That face.

It was the wrong kind of familiar.

He backed away, slowly, hands coming up to his mouth; the look on his face could best be described as unbelieving terror.

He didn't even realize he'd dropped Hamel.

Hamel was too busy dwelling on himself to really look around him. He even considered on taking a nap while he was being carried. At least whenever they got to their destination to meet the girls, he would have some semblance of life in him ( ... )
