Another minute would pass before Euphie appeared, slightly out of breath from running directly for the kitchen. "I'm sorry I'm late!" Was the first thing she said after taking a moment to catch her breath. She straightened, giving him a bright smile, confirming everything was alright. "Everything went smoothly as planned!"
When Euphie came running in, Hamel took a few steps back to give her room. He wanted to immediately ask her, but instead chose to lean in a little and watch her catch breath. When she straightened, he did the same and couldn't help but smile back at Euphie.
That didn't last long though and he quickly turned away, making a mild scoffing sound in approval. "Like I said it would..now on to setting up for tomorrow...."
Hamel stared at the chocolate again, still quite unsure how to get started.
She giggled softly at his reaction, smiling knowingly at his back.
"Homemade Chocolate, right?" She asked, peering over his shoulder. "I think I remember how this... It has been a while though" Never mind that she had only watched the cooks make it while she hung around in the kitchen and had never done it herself.
"We'll need a knife and a cutting board for now." She said, before moving into the kitchen, gathering tools. "To cut and break the chocolates into much smaller pieces before heating it up."
Hamel tilted his head up at hearing her. She knew how to make these? Well, of course she knew, Women tend to know how to cook. Hamel took a step a side to let Euphie work, though did manage to make himself useful by grabbing the cutting board for her.
Unsure what to do afterward, the violinist simply set the board down on the counter and observed.
