She arrived at the rink - no ceiling to collapse here, good - and waited.

It had been some time since she had attended an event that promised this many people. She had decided before her onset that it would only be proper to show up presentably. Hopefully the fur coat she had worn on Halloween would not prove too ostentatious. Not very much of a social butterfly by nature, she began looking around for people she knew. Ah, that would have been Miss Fey front and center. She cast the woman a smile as she walked by.
And was that... yes, that was Rosette. How fantastic! The gentleman with her, she did not believe she was familiar with, but there was no time like the present. She made her way over and greeted the two of them with a friendly smile.

She really wish he'd listen to her more often but he was just as stubborn as she was sometimes, which was saying something.
"Hello Rosette," Riza greeted the young woman when she approached her, giving Harry a look that said he should sit down on the bench nearby since he wasn't going to be in bed today. She noticed another woman approaching them and wondered if she was a friend of Rosette's, she gave her a short nod of greeting.

Good ol' Scout's First Rule: Be prepared.
MacGyver was (usually) prepared.
In this case, he wore some hockey gear (Rangers, but what could you do?) salvaged from that trip to Madison Square Garden nearly an eternity of weeks (three?) ago. His stick neatly dribbling a puck he'd brought, his skates cutting evenly through the ice, he was having the time of his life...well...a bit more than usual.
Man, he missed this.
The lady at the base of the statue didn't escape his attention either.
Skidding to a stop nearby, he called up. "Miss Mia, right?"

Hopefully the monster wouldn't decide to interrupt this meeting, too. At least if she did, they stood a better chance of escaping without injury.
As he approached Mia, he saw someone else come skating up...MacGyver, was it? Sora had only been able to talk with him some on the journals, but he seemed like one of the smarter guys around here. He waved to them both. "Hi there!"

"Hi! You Sora?"
Reply
"Yup!" Sheesh, at this point, everyone was going to know about him before he even got to meet them in person! "You're...MacGyver, right?"

He stuffed his gloved hands in his pants pockets as he got to the rink, though the appearance of strange people made him stop for a moment. If he was going to be stuck here, he was going to have to get used to being above aground, as something told him the sewers of this place weren't a great place to go.

He was small so it was hard for him to look over all the people already here for a familiar face. Negi was rather preoccupied with finding Kaede or Rosette or someone that he didn't notice the 'man' until he had bumped into him. "Ah, sorry," Negi said automatically, looking up at him.

By her side, she was carrying a duffle bag (which may or may not have had skates in them, because she may or may not have thought there would really be skating). She looked up in time to see two people in her way. One she was certain she had never met, and the other, a young boy, she might have seen in passing at one of the parties.
"Hi," she called out cordially. "Looks like we're in for a cold one, huh?"
Reply
"It's alright." He said in response, before looking to the lady at her comment. "Yeah, looks like it, winters here in New York are always pretty cold." He agreed.

She'd taken to wearing a Mets cap she'd found lying around lately, to keep the hair out of her eyes - she hadn't been able to get it cut, so it was getting to be on the long side. She thought of Orihime for a moment, as she used to be the one to cut it, back home. Letting out a sigh, she looked up. Crowd was starting to gather. This must be the place.

He glanced evenly, left and right, as he walked into the Center. Black jeans, a thick black and green vertical-striped sweatshirt over a grey T-shirt, and his old reliable sneakers were his new wardrobe. A new trench coat and gloves served well as outerwear replacements, and he wore a set of sunglasses for that extra Matrix feel.
He smirked a little. This wasn't exactly his style, but it worked pretty well.
"Sensei," he said, coming up behind Tatsuki and fingering his sunglasses.

She couldn't help but comment on the outfit. {"Liking the new duds there. Maybe you don't need my lessons at all, we'll just stick a plug in your head and you'll know kung fu."} She grinned wider, before adding a little sarcasm to her voice. {"So, did you 'bring your skates?'"} Obviously, she was in a brighter mood today.

{"...That name is only for a few people. Not just anyone."}
Naoki took off his sunglasses to look her in the face, his expression one of trust given and expected in return.
{"In public, I'm Naoki. It's..."}
His voice a low whisper.
{"Searcher was also my name as a demon. It's...special to me. I hope you understand."}

Greed had one thing in mind when he came to this meeting, and one thing only, and that was seeing what entertainment might be had. Maybe he'd finally get to see Zero in person. Maybe they'd get to forming a mob. Maybe Larxene would even pop her pretty little head in. He'd just have to wait and see.
Whatever did happen, though, he wasn't planning on leaving without more than he came with.

She had left her skates off to the side, not worried that someone would up and steal them. She saw people she knew - Sora, Mia - and others that she recognized from the network, and made her way a bit off to one she didn't quite know, standing with her jacket bundled around her.
"At least the weather is alright," she said as means of conversation, but it could easily come across as speaking to herself if the man was heavily anti-social. Kairi couldn't tell on a quick glance, but she thought it was alright.

"Funny, I hadn't expected anyone to come for the skating. 'Sup, kid?"

"Skating would be kind of nice," she said with a nod towards the rink. "But I'd rather hear what's going on with my own ears this time, instead of everything over the network." She stared off towards Mia's direction. Though Kairi was actually glad that she hadn't been at Zero's meeting, given what happened.
But this one she couldn't pass up.
