Hands deep in the pockets of her bomber jacket, Rosette made her way to the plaza. She wasn't entirely sure what was going to happen, but she was fairly certain it wasn't going to be ice skating. Everyone was on edge after Zero's disaster of a speech, and this was the perfect opportunity to talk about what was happening in the city and maybe find out who was behind it.

She arrived at the rink - no ceiling to collapse here, good - and waited.

Harry showed up soon after, having taken the time to gather up his notes and findings on what was going on in the city. He had the strangest feeling this particular ice skating session was going to involve a lot more cross referencing and theorizing than was traditionally associated with the activity ( ... )

Freudia knew with whom her loyalties lay. And she had had more than enough practice with bureaucracy to know that Miss Fey had not been speaking of ice skating. (Of course, if she had been, the ice princess would not have complained. Winter was a fantastic holiday for that sort of thing.)

It had been some time since she had attended an event that promised this many people. She had decided before her onset that it would only be proper to show up presentably. Hopefully the fur coat she had worn on Halloween would not prove too ostentatious. Not very much of a social butterfly by nature, she began looking around for people she knew. Ah, that would have been Miss Fey front and center. She cast the woman a smile as she walked by.

And was that... yes, that was Rosette. How fantastic! The gentleman with her, she did not believe she was familiar with, but there was no time like the present. She made her way over and greeted the two of them with a friendly smile.

After the events that had played out the last time they'd had a big meeting Riza decided she'd stick close to her fiance this time around, mostly because she knew he was still exhausted from his endeavor to hold the roof up at the subway. While she had tried to talk him out of coming to this she'd wound up giving in to him on the condition that she go as well.

She really wish he'd listen to her more often but he was just as stubborn as she was sometimes, which was saying something.

"Hello Rosette," Riza greeted the young woman when she approached her, giving Harry a look that said he should sit down on the bench nearby since he wasn't going to be in bed today. She noticed another woman approaching them and wondered if she was a friend of Rosette's, she gave her a short nod of greeting.

No hockey...pff.

Good ol' Scout's First Rule: Be prepared.

MacGyver was (usually) prepared.

In this case, he wore some hockey gear (Rangers, but what could you do?) salvaged from that trip to Madison Square Garden nearly an eternity of weeks (three?) ago. His stick neatly dribbling a puck he'd brought, his skates cutting evenly through the ice, he was having the time of his life...well...a bit more than usual.

Man, he missed this.

The lady at the base of the statue didn't escape his attention either.

Skidding to a stop nearby, he called up. "Miss Mia, right?"

The Keyblade Master arrived at Rockefeller Plaza dressed warmly, but without the Keyblade drawn, at least yet. Sora knew Mia well enough to know that she'd been asking everyone to meet to talk about the city, but under the guise of an ice skating social. He trusted her a lot, and it had been awhile since he'd gotten to talk with her. Here probably wouldn't be as good a place to bring up the crab bites or the graffiti, but he was certain it'd still be informative.

Hopefully the monster wouldn't decide to interrupt this meeting, too. At least if she did, they stood a better chance of escaping without injury.

As he approached Mia, he saw someone else come skating up...MacGyver, was it? Sora had only been able to talk with him some on the journals, but he seemed like one of the smarter guys around here. He waved to them both. "Hi there!"

Mac turned and smiled at the short kid. Spiky hair usually said unruly, but the kid seemed like he had his stuff together. Fine in his book.

"Hi! You Sora?"

Of course, Sora's hair practically had a mind of its own. It was near impossible to tame, and always had been, but it wasn't like he minded.

"Yup!" Sheesh, at this point, everyone was going to know about him before he even got to meet them in person! "You're...MacGyver, right?"

Maddison square garden, atleast the place still looked like what he remembered back home. He crunched his way through snow, bundled up in a winter coat, hat, pants, and gloves he'd managed to find, which helped with the cold, as well with the shoes, he was still amazed to find clothes that fit in this city.

He stuffed his gloved hands in his pants pockets as he got to the rink, though the appearance of strange people made him stop for a moment. If he was going to be stuck here, he was going to have to get used to being above aground, as something told him the sewers of this place weren't a great place to go.

Negi hadn't been to the meeting in the subway, though he wished he had after what he had heard happened. He probably could have helped out in some way and he felt rather bad that he had missed the opportunity to help. So, he had decided to attend the second meeting, not because he thought something bad would happen (in fact he REALLY hoped this meeting went smoothly), but because he wanted to be as informed as everyone else.

He was small so it was hard for him to look over all the people already here for a familiar face. Negi was rather preoccupied with finding Kaede or Rosette or someone that he didn't notice the 'man' until he had bumped into him. "Ah, sorry," Negi said automatically, looking up at him.

Botan smiled as she looked around the rink. It really was looking a good turnout! Idly, she pulled at the pink scarf she wore. She silently congratulated herself for stockpiling winter clothing. They'd be proud of her foresight back home.

By her side, she was carrying a duffle bag (which may or may not have had skates in them, because she may or may not have thought there would really be skating). She looked up in time to see two people in her way. One she was certain she had never met, and the other, a young boy, she might have seen in passing at one of the parties.

"Hi," she called out cordially. "Looks like we're in for a cold one, huh?"

Leo turned as somebody bumped into him, seeing the young boy, and a lady. He nodded to the boy first though.

"It's alright." He said in response, before looking to the lady at her comment. "Yeah, looks like it, winters here in New York are always pretty cold." He agreed.

Tatsuki couldn't help but wonder where Mia had planned on going with this, but being that she was pretty much in charge, she went along with it. Obviously, no one was there for the ice skating.

She'd taken to wearing a Mets cap she'd found lying around lately, to keep the hair out of her eyes - she hadn't been able to get it cut, so it was getting to be on the long side. She thought of Orihime for a moment, as she used to be the one to cut it, back home. Letting out a sigh, she looked up. Crowd was starting to gather. This must be the place.

Naoki wasn't there for the ice skating either.

He glanced evenly, left and right, as he walked into the Center. Black jeans, a thick black and green vertical-striped sweatshirt over a grey T-shirt, and his old reliable sneakers were his new wardrobe. A new trench coat and gloves served well as outerwear replacements, and he wore a set of sunglasses for that extra Matrix feel.

He smirked a little. This wasn't exactly his style, but it worked pretty well.

"Sensei," he said, coming up behind Tatsuki and fingering his sunglasses.

Now there was a familiar voice. Tatsuki swung around, smiling wide at her new student. Someone she was happy to see. It'd been a while since she'd had that. {"Sup, Searcher?"}

She couldn't help but comment on the outfit. {"Liking the new duds there. Maybe you don't need my lessons at all, we'll just stick a plug in your head and you'll know kung fu."} She grinned wider, before adding a little sarcasm to her voice. {"So, did you 'bring your skates?'"} Obviously, she was in a brighter mood today.

"Shhhh..." he whispered, his finger to his lips.

{"...That name is only for a few people. Not just anyone."}

Naoki took off his sunglasses to look her in the face, his expression one of trust given and expected in return.

{"In public, I'm Naoki. It's..."}

His voice a low whisper.

{"Searcher was also my name as a demon. It's...special to me. I hope you understand."}

This Zero idiot could be a problem if he keeps his little act up.

Greed had one thing in mind when he came to this meeting, and one thing only, and that was seeing what entertainment might be had. Maybe he'd finally get to see Zero in person. Maybe they'd get to forming a mob. Maybe Larxene would even pop her pretty little head in. He'd just have to wait and see.

Whatever did happen, though, he wasn't planning on leaving without more than he came with.

Kairi had been hoping for some actual ice skating, even though her mind had been telling her it probably wouldn't happen. She had seen Mia talk over the network often enough to know that it was pretty odd. Sora going was also a plus, and no matter what happened here, Kairi knew that she could trust Mia... and that there could still be some hope in ice skating.

She had left her skates off to the side, not worried that someone would up and steal them. She saw people she knew - Sora, Mia - and others that she recognized from the network, and made her way a bit off to one she didn't quite know, standing with her jacket bundled around her.

"At least the weather is alright," she said as means of conversation, but it could easily come across as speaking to herself if the man was heavily anti-social. Kairi couldn't tell on a quick glance, but she thought it was alright.

Greed was a number of things, many of them not pretty, but he was hardly anti-social. He may have been a bit out of the way of the crowd, but that simply meant he was observing for the time being. When the young girl approached, he was glad to greet her with a smile and a nod. "Beautiful, I'd say." Something about kids just brought out the best in him, he supposed.

"Funny, I hadn't expected anyone to come for the skating. 'Sup, kid?"

Kairi herself was good at bringing out the best of anyone; she thought everyone deserved at least a chance, maybe two (which was often in regards to the Nobodies of Organization XIII). She smiled back, pleased to not be ignored.

"Skating would be kind of nice," she said with a nod towards the rink. "But I'd rather hear what's going on with my own ears this time, instead of everything over the network." She stared off towards Mia's direction. Though Kairi was actually glad that she hadn't been at Zero's meeting, given what happened.

But this one she couldn't pass up.
