Ty Lee, no stranger to dating, was used to having a few more outfits than this. But she had to make do with what she did have, and she'd been lucky enough to find something a little nicer on her more recent scavenging trip. It wasn't going to be a formal thing, was it? But she still wanted to stay warm, too. The weather was the really tricky part. She'd settled on something she liked, though.

So when she opened the door with her hair done up in a ribbon, her bangs framing her face, a tasteful little golden necklace around her neck, a modest red dress (whose length limited her movement, but she wasn't going to be running through the city in this weather), whatever shoes she could find (she wasn't a fan of them in general, really), and with the entire ensemble wrapped in a stylish black coat, she felt a little overdressed. But not much. She smiled. "Hi, Beat!"

"Sup, yo," Beat said with a nod, then he froze.

He took a long look over Ty Lee and immediately felt like he should have tried a little harder. And like he was supposed to say something. But he didn't know what.

"Uh. I," he muttered. "I, uh, so we can. I dunno what ya wanna do but we can do whateva you want, yo." He paused for a moment, coughed into a closed fist, and decided to try that again. "You lookin' pretty hot."

Boys always seemed to do that around her. You'd think she would get tired of it after a while. Nope. She giggled. "You look nice, too." Stepping out of her doorway, she bent her arm at the elbow and offered it to Beat, expecting him to at least know what to do with that.

"You could show me around to where you go when you're not looking after Rhyme," she suggested. "Or we could just go walking. It isn't that cold out." She really hoped he'd planned for this, but from the looks of things, well.

Beat rather tenuously took her arm, though once his arm was in position it sort of involuntarily tightened up and locked into place. Yeah. That was the right way.

"Sounds aight t' me, yo," he said. "We can just play it by air an' see what happens. I been runnin' around on foot cuz I lost my board a few weeks ago but I think you'd like this one place I been goin'..."

It was really difficult to tell if he was bluffing or not.
