Aang had been wandering about, for once on his own, when he spotted someone he didn't quite recognize. Now, normal people would be cautious in a situation where they randomly come across someone--Aang on the other hand was overtly loud and friendly.

"Hey!" He called, jumping through the snow to land right in front of the girl. "Hiya! I'm Aang." He introduced, grinning--ever the one to take the opportunity to make new friends.

Luckily, there were worse people he could randomly bump into. Tatsuki, like most would in her situation, merely stood and stared, nonplussed. Who the hell was this kid? What's with the arrow? He seemed harmless enough, though, and she could use at least that at the moment.

"Um... hi!" she replied, smiling awkwardly. "You, uh, wouldn't happen to know where this is, would you?"

"Oh! You must be new here. I didn't know where I was at first either." Aang replied, still looking rather cheerful, rocking back on his heals. He'd gotten better at the whole 'don't look constantly worried' thing.

"I'm Aang, and you pretty much just came into what's left of a place called Manhattan--I think, never bothered to really get that right...heh."

Manhattan? Seriously?! That was all the way on the other side of the world from Japan, and yesterday she'd have chewed him out for lying so bald-facedly to her. Even if things were different now, this was pretty hard to swallow.
