Kairi blinked at the new voice, making her way into the lobby to investigate. Well, if whoever it was needed a place to stay, they had plenty of rooms to spare. She tilted her head to the side, curious, and paused where she stood. "Hello there, can I help you?" she asked, and then added, "I'm Kairi," for good measure. Since she didn't know this woman, it was doubtful that the woman knew her, either.

At least the lobby was warmer now, with its fires lit; she'd have to thank Axel for coming by. They weren't going to burn out anytime soon.

"Oh! Medusa, nice to meet you." She was actually familiar with most of the residents by now, at least to a degree. She hadn't paid much attention to Kairi in particular, but enough to recognize her.

"I, er, I just thought you could use some help around here, so I brought this." She opened up the bag, revealing its contents. "I hope it helps." Figuring she could use the warmth about now, she decided a brief rest couldn't hurt, even if she wasn't quite used to needing it yet. "Is it alright if I have a seat?"

Medusa? Hmm... that was an odd name. But it wasn't anything Kairi had heard before on her world, so she found no need to be alarmed, and continued to smile cheerfully at the newcomer. At seeing the contents of the bag, Kairi beamed. "That's wonderful! We always are having a growing number of people in the hotel... I can't even keep track of it. Having more food is always... a big help."

Kairi paused, then blinked in a bit of surprise. "Ah! Of course you can sit down. It's pretty comfortable in here right now, better than outside anyway, I'd imagine." She hovered around for a moment, wondering what to do with the food. She could always bring it down to the basement bar and people could take what they needed... "And you have enough food yourself, right?" Or else the woman wouldn't be offering it out?

Oh, such a sweet girl this was. Yes, definitely no one to concern herself with at the moment. "It was the least I could do. When I found out about the supply centers, I couldn't very well just sit back."

It certainly was more comfortable. Medusa's more reptilian side never did too well with the cold, and this island only magnified her weaknesses. If she didn't know better, she'd wonder if this was what mortals felt.

"I... should have enough, yes." She smiled back. That smile was beginning to feel more labored in this weather.
