Cooro had still not gotten used to the surroundings he had been thrown in. It was beginning to be quite obvious that this place was nothing like Astaria. It could feasibly be like Sailand seeing as the boy had never gone there before, but he was sure Husky would've told him if it had been this drastically different. Plus, people weren't calling it Sailand, so that was kind of a big giveaway. Manhattan was what Sara had called it and though it was nothing like home, it was still fun to explore the surroundings - even if those weird crab things kept following him. They obviously wanted to play with him, but they played a bit rough! If it wasn't for his wings, he was sure they would've scratched him by now ( ... )

Raven skidded to a stop and took a moment to hurl more rubble at the crabs before turning to him.

"Why are you just standing there? Those things don't exactly look friendly," she said, gesturing toward them.

Cooro frowned at her as she threw rubble at the crabs and then looked back at the hoard, looking at the properly for the first time in ages. They did look pretty nasty - but Cooro knew that sometimes things that looked nasty sometimes weren't. And the word crab only made him want to see if they tasted good - Senri was really good at making things that looked gross taste really nice! He did back up a little when they started to advance again, a frown appearing on his face.

"They might not look friendly, but you never know! They might just want to play..." he trailed off, as one got brave and jumped toward him. Okay, that was taking it a little too far, and Cooro jumped back, avoiding its jaws narrowly. He grabbed the small pipe that he had tied to his waist and pulled it out, hitting the crab on the snout. Cooro then jumed into the air, huge black wings outstretching as he hovered over the scene, hands still holding onto the pipe.

She threw up a thin shield as a few others jumped at them.

"Do they look like they want to play?" she snapped. She backed away from the shield to get a hold of more rubble, threw it as the barrier fell, and turned to run. "There's too many of them; let's go!"
