Earlier Odd had dismissed Cheryl, presuming that it was best that she went on ahead to meet up with the other two supposedly searching with them. Odd hadn’t been particularly keen on looking for Sunderland with other people... especially not when hazarding the probability of putting any imminent persons in danger as well ( ... )

James was basically an idiot. To go running off alone without a word in this place? And though he could hold his own to a point, Billy still wouldn't have trusted him out on his own in the thick. Especially with double the number of crabs as usual out.

He showed up at the cathedral at the appointed time, wearing a winter jacket that fell just below his waist. Strapped to his back was his shotgun, tucked in the pocket of his jeans was his 9mm, slipped in the inner pocket of the jacket was his magnum, and there was enough ammunition to last the apocalypse slung in the back over his shoulder.

He didn't know either Odd or this Cheryl girl very well, so he remained silent as he approached. "Morning," he said finally. "Interesting day."

Larsa had no idea who any of the people he would be accompanying on this search party were, nor did he know the person they were looking for. Still, he made sure not to be late and found himself arriving at the cathedral just behind someone else. Glancing around, he offered a smile to the people around him, small as it was, and stopped near them.

He was wearing his normal clothes with jackets piled on so he wouldn't be cold. His sword was strapped to his waist and he was ready for a long trip around in the cold air.

"Good day everyone," he finally murmured to the group. "Are we waiting on someone else?"

Cheryl was digging into the pocket of the hooded sweatshirt she'd worn for the gloves she'd been debating on actually needing or not. Growing up in Maine, you tended to get used to cold, and she hadn't actually bothered to go looking for a winter coat, yet. She glanced up when she heard her name and turned, watching Odd approach ( ... )
