Although he didn't show it, Sado was quite relieved to hear the pleasant voice of the girl who had been working so hard to heal him. He had been serious about keeping his promise to Botan, and not trying to move around until he was fully healed, but because of that he'd been suffering from an acute case of boredom. While he was generally a quiet and subdued young man, the fact was that sitting in bed day after day with only the same few scavenged reading materials would be enough to bore anyone.

He would have to trust that as a healer, Katara would know the importance of taking care of herself. Besides, he was willing to admit that he was the last person who should lecture someone on the necessity of taking things easy when others were in need ( ... )

"It's my pleasure." Katara smiled. She pulled out a few CD cases from her satchel. "It's like it can play so many instruments at once, and the disks can remember the music. We don't have anything like it where I come from." She looked at the CD covers, which varied from tranquil, abstract images to images of men with bizarre body piercings and the most bizarre war paint she'd ever seen. Each of the CD's had the cellophane missing, indicating she'd taken a look, or rather a listen, at each one ( ... )
