It was reassuring to see people getting better at Madison Square Gardens. Some of them were even up and walking a little. There was still a lot of pain, but there was a sense of moving on, a sense of hope. And that's what felt most rewarding to Katara.
She'd had a mix of patients. A few she had to be pretty firm with. Some pleasant ones. Some elderly. A couple kids with a resolve that reminded her of people she knew back home. But she treated them, regardless of whether or not they appreciated it.
Katara had one more person to see before she'd take a break. She deemed him a gentle man and one of the more pleasant people to work with. The girl looked forward to seeing him.
With one hand on the satchel she carried, Katara tapped at the "door" to the tent. Of course, that didn't make much noise. "Sado?" She unzipped the door and poked her head in with a smile. "Hey, Sado. How are you feeling?"
