I love holding a sleeping baby. Everything about it is awesome: the softness, the limp weight, the warmth of that body, the sweet smell of that little head nestled against my shoulder. Holding a sleeping baby is pretty much the best thing in the whole world, for all of the reasons you mentioned. These days I'm lucky to get hugs and kisses from Xavy and Eli--I miss when they were too small to actually be mobile!

We should talk soon--it's been too long.

BTW, I'm now looking at the week before the 4th of July for my Colorado trip, as the Rockies will actually be in town that week. Yes, I'm a baseball dork. You don't have to go to a game with me. :)
