I love love LOVE being up north. I was ready to leave Chicago by the time my four day visit there ended. Seeing everyone was great, but seriously, there' sonly so much bickering you can take before your mind just implodes

Ah, I am so envious. We will not be heading up to Traverse City this summer. Husband's relative with the cabin is not allowing us to stay there. Not sure why. Suspect it is either his wife or sister who doesn't want us up there??? Still no clue why. Fun family stuff, eh!? Anyway, we will be trying out a rented cottage on Washington Island (Door County) in August. I still will miss Traverse thought.

What a pain. Door COunty's quite nice, too, though I'm partial to Michigan, myself. Hopefully the family stuff resolves. I know how it is when certain members just won't get their heads out of their asses and learn how to get along! Buh.

Sounds absolutely lovely. I'm envious. Shawn and I had such a good time last time we visited!

You guys are welcome up again! I'm only here three weeks this summer but we'll have to plan on another visit next year.

Yes, but my mom is coming up that weekend.
