I love them too. My honey is going to try to make the doors on them close all the way by adjusting the hinges. The house has done some settling in the last 97 years.

Yeah... There was a widower who lived there for years and I think he decorated with this thought in mind "I think my mother would have loved that tile/light fixture/wallpaper..."

Congratulations and good luck! Adorable user pic, btw. In Minnesota it is illegal to call a room in a basement a bedroom unless there are certain conditions like large enough windows and exit to the exterior on that level - or something to that effect. A mud floor nightmare would never fly up here!
