Administrative Note: Posting Duties

Apr 05, 2007 14:04

I apologized yesterday for skipping the past couple weeks, as I was out of town and thought I would have internet but didn't. I'd just like to make sure that we have all of the days covered. I've noticed that dailyrumi has become less 'daily', and I know of at least one person who had a posting day but whose journal has closed ( Read more... )

Sweet. Thank you! You now have Thursday, and maybe Saturday too if nobody else speaks up (if that works?)

Cool, thank you! I've given you posting access and put you down for Friday, so you can start today if you like. :D

I don't know if I can commit to a certain day, as I'm likely to be traveling a lot in the near future, but I'd like to post. Is it still possible for people who don't have an assigned day to post Rumi from time to time, or agreed posters only?

Hm. The original owner is in_palestine, so I would have to wait for her/him to clarify that. It's my understanding, though, that certain people have a specified day and only those people have posting access. I could be wrong, as I joined up and got added right as the last 'who wants to take a day' post was going on. :D

That seems like a good idea, if loreeley would like to do that.

I did have an idea, if only certain people were going to have posting access. I know I like to write articles about Rumi or Sufism/ecstatic poetry. I know not everyone writes about that often, and a lot of people on my f-list aren't particularly interested. Maybe we could have a locked post at the top of the group, where members can contact a moderator if they'd like us to link to an on-topic entry of theirs? I didn't know if I should be posting that stuff, myself, so either way I'd like to be sure whether articles are encouraged or just the daily poems. (I don't explore it as often as I like, or I'd start a whole new community anyway). Thanks in advance!
